RENEWAL adds industrial elements and a more straight-foward riffing style (i.e. less thrashy). Mille Petrozza matches this with vocals that are less shrill and more Hetfield-ish. Speaking of Hetfield, RENEWAL has somewhat of a Metallica vibe, somewhere between AND JUSTICE FOR ALL and THE BLACK ALBUM, albeit closer to the former/5(32).

Renewal was the album that saw German thrash metal kings Kreator attempt to broaden their sound, relinquishing much of their legendary velocity in order to enter previously undreamed of industrial realms.

Kreator’s sixth album, Renewal was originally released in October , and took Kreator fans a little by surprise. While the band had established a reputation as a formidable thrash metal act - one of the best in Europe - this time they had really pushed away from their comfort zone/5(32).

Renewal is the sixth album by German thrash metal band Kreator released in It's their first "experimental" album, as in this release Kreator incorporated some industrial music influences in their songwriting. It is also the last album to feature original bassist Rob Fioretti.

Karmic Wheel Lyrics: Shelter me for I am locked in a world / That lost the will to be free / Dying age a chronicle of forgotten peace / Replaced by hate / Rescue me for all I can do is try / To escape.
